About the picture

This painting hangs in my office, and it gives me pleasure every day. I picked it up in a second hand shop a few years ago (it was probably sold in an estate sale).  I don't know who the artist "Frances" really is, but I always felt that it was a granddaughter painting a very loving portrait of her grandmother.

Probably pretty hokey of me to think that, but then again, it's my picture.
